Will writes, “I run a lodge and vineyard in the Andes mountains, Chile. Ignoring the naysayers, we planted three acres of Cabernet Sauvignon at high altitude, the highest Cabernet Sauvignon in the Colchagua valley region in fact! After a challenging start (plagues of rabbits, wild boars, heavy snowfall, early rains and some average vintages) for the last three years we have been producing 90+ wines. When not toiling in the vineyard, we find plenty of time to enjoy the fruits of our labour with family and friends.”
