As Chairman and Founder Director of LAT Water Limited, a technology company focussed on practical sustainability and the circular economy, I am delighted that we have developed an energy efficient process to treat industrial wastewater (or sea water), meaning we are able to generate an 80% saving in energy consumption compared to legacy systems. Over the last twelve months, we have completed the first UK commercial pilot with three units, each with the capacity of treating 60 tons of water a day, being operational in China. We are also building a mobile unit to provide clean water needed for global humanitarian emergencies.
