Graham was a second generation Briton of exotically various European ancestry, read chemistry at Oxford (Balliol College, ever close to his heart). He worked as a patent researcher, was called to the Bar and spent many years as a company lawyer with Fisons and Thames Water. His quick wit and gentle humour endeared him to his many friends and wife, Sally, who treasure his memory.
