Chris writes, “Hong Kong has had its share of publicity in recent months and while events here have affected many the impact on the lives of around 160,000 Indonesian migrant domestic workers has largely gone unnoticed although our charity’s work of offering them affordable education on a range of subjects and topics has continued throughout the year nonetheless. l’ve also been fortunate to have made a couple of great trips including overland from Kyrgyzstan into Xinjiang via the remote Torugart Pass. Another highlight of the year was a glorious day at Stowe on the occasion of the International Friends of Stowe Dinner in May 2019; the grounds were looking truly spectacular!”
