Simon and Jo are ensconced on the Cotentin (Cherbourg) peninsular with a residency permit for the next five years. Simon is occupied with four gardens, a building site (renovation of a 4-bedroom cottage) and 350 vines in a walled garden on the edge of the Marais du Cotentin. Jo runs the studio let that overlooks the bay of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Old Stoics are welcome to get in touch if they are travelling to Cherbourg or the north east of the peninsular.
