Mike writes that he, Peter Fenwick (Cobham 54) and little brother, Ian Ferrier (Temple 61) were the oldest by about ten years at the Old Stoic dinner on 10 November – yet were the last to leave (in fact were thrown out!). Mike had just finished his fourth novel Cold Winds Over Cayman, Ian had just returned from a cancer prevention meeting at No 10 Downing Street and Peter was still enthralling us all about the death process (fascinating to someone of 30 – somewhat scary when you’re over 80!)
