20 years of Christian Service. In 1979, George received an award for outstanding contribution to the International Year of the Child. Supported always by his wife, Angela, his service to aid children in India continued for the next 20 years alongside aid shipments sent annually to assist Dominica. These efforts were recognised by him being one of the 93 male Maundy Money recipients 2019.
