Christopher writes, “After 23 years as a Stowe Governor, the last nine chairing the Board, I have been Chair at Woodard Academy since 2015. Retiring from this at the end of 2021, I thought my working life was coming to an end aged 73. Life conspires and on 1 August 2021, I was appointed CEO of an international recruitment business in the energy space and was launched headlong into a major transformation programme. My wife, Ros, was not best pleased and thinks I’m mad, as do our two children, their partners and our five grandchildren – I must be, but in that case being mad is also great fun!”
