Richard Meredith completed 64 years as a lay reader in the CofE and decided not to seek to renew his license to officiate. His daughter-in-law is the prize-winning poet Fiona Benson. Her new collection of poems ’Ephemeron’ was published in February 2022. It includes her well-reviewed insect poems.
