Thornton writes, “Highlights: my son Alexander (Grafton 93) receiving his MBE at Buckingham Palace for underwater photography and books; my younger son, Oscar, golfing for Cambridge and gaining a 1st in his Law degree. Having sold my global taste and flavour consumer research business, my wife Reth and I now divide our time between homes in Grand Cayman and Dartmoor, where I am restoring classic Porsches for my two sons.”
