In the last edition of The Corinthian, we published a cri de coeur from Stowe Church which needs to raise £200,000 in order to address the serious structural problems affecting the walls and roof of this much loved church in the trees, which also happens to be by far the oldest building in the Stowe Gardens. It has so many connections to the School but neither the School nor the National Trust are responsible for its upkeep!
The Fundraising Committee is pleased to advise that, with the help of much appreciated donations from Old Stoics, they are now just over half way to their target.
If you would like more detail please contact me (closesmith@hotmail.com), otherwise thank you very much indeed!
