Simon writes, “I am venturing on a one year caravan trip around Australia. I am currently in North Queensland sitting in tropical rain! We are picking up jobs as we go along. Mainly as managers on holiday parks and motels. It was always on my bucket list. I meant to do this when I was 20. I am now doing it at 60. The scenery, beaches and mostly the climate is stunning. We started our trip in Tasmania so we’ve covered the lushest part of Australia. We are planning to start the desert part in June during the dry season, from Townsville to Darwin. If anyone has any tips or recommends any particular place to visit we would appreciate it.”
