Richard Reynolds (Cobham 76)

Richard writes, “I’m approaching my fortieth year as a specialist bookseller at Heffers in Cambridge, when not busy selling crime novels, I spend my time judging them. Having enjoyed four years as a judge on the Crime Writers’ Association Ian Fleming Panel for thrillers, I’ve been for several years chairman of the CWA Gold Dagger award for best crime novel of the year. I’m especially interested in the Golden Age of detective fiction and working with several publishers, including Oleander Press and Ostara, have been involved in bringing some classic titles back into print including Glyn Daniel’s The Cambridge Murders and Douglas G Browne’s The May Week Murder.
