Nigel Rossiter (Cobham 81)

Nigel writes, “I recently retired from the NHS but am continuing in independent practice as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon in Basingstoke. I’m now Chair of Primary Trauma Care Foundation working with UN General Assembly and G4 Alliance on trauma care in low- and middle-income countries. I’m also Chair of Incision Indemnity, insuring surgeons and continue as faculty teaching Orthopaedic Trauma for AO Trauma worldwide as well as previously being a NICE committee member. I’ve won the NHS Shine Award’s ‘Inspiring Educator of the Year’ twice, ‘Wessex Orthopaedic Surgical Trainer of the Year’ twice and ‘Hippocrates Award for Excellence in the Field of Medicine’ from Who’s Who.”
