Jonathon writes, “Since standing down as OSS Chair, I’ve teamed up with Jonathan Keating (Cobham 73) to launch JX2 and I have also helped to set up the Old Stoic Benevolent Trust, to provide support to Old Stoics in their hour of need.
Following on from my stint as the ex-officio OS Governor, I am now a Governor at my daughter’s school, Ditcham Park in Hampshire. I have used my time spent with Anthony Wallersteiner and his inspirational approach to education to help me guide this amazing school and to create an alumni of which to be proud.
I am a Director of an amazing talent agency, Chapter Management, www.chaptermgmt.co.uk representing models, actors and musicians, an agency founded during one of the most disruptive periods in the history of fashion. We’re writing a new chapter, one that is diverse, inclusive and fearless, something I wholeheartedly believe in. Of course, I’m still running my ad agency, www.adlabs.global.
This is all on top of my diagnosis of prostate cancer during lockdown, a disease I am fighting. I write a blog on my experience and I am more than happy to talk to anyone who is going through what I am going through. It is, especially in this case, good to talk (an old ad campaign for BT I am proud to be associated with).
Finally, I’ve also teamed up with one of the world’s top guitarists and together we are writing songs, playing together and enjoying life. There is one thing this pandemic has taught me which is not to sit still and to embrace opportunity when it arises.”
