James writes, “BeSharing.org is a social enterprise Charity web hub, registered as a CIC, offering volunteering and fundraising opportunities, tailored to students and staff in schools and colleges. We are based at IdeaSpace at Cambridge University. The aim of BeSharing.org is to give children and young adults access to volunteering and fundraising opportunities with the ability for the participants to record their activities and experience, building a resume of recorded charitable achievements. It allows schools and colleges to introduce young people to volunteering opportunities. With your support we offer and record the completed activities, providing a framework for young people to be able to demonstrate their achievements. We also have a directory of charities and a wellbeing section with a quick and easy process for contacting multiple charities/organisations in a few clicks.”
