Henry Kimbell (Chandos 04)

After many years working across the charity and corporate sectors, Henry decided to be brave and set up his own business. Despite the difficulties of 2020, Galloping to Give is up and running. The company combines Henry’s lifelong passion of horse racing with nearly a decade working in the charity and commercial sectors by offering educational horse racing experience packages. From a behind the scenes tour at a trainer’s yard before heading out into the crisp morning air to watch the horses being put through their paces, to a private tour of the prestigious Tattersalls Sales with a leading Bloodstock Agent and even a guided day at the races explaining that 9/4 is actually better than 2/1 – there is certainly something for everyone! Naturally, Henry will be utilising the many Old Stoics who work in racing to support his new venture. You can see more at gallopingtogive.com. Away from work, he still runs and very much enjoys supporting the horses in the Old Stoic Racing Club, which is now in its fifth season and is busy planning for an exciting venture to celebrate Stowe’s upcoming centenary in 2023. Alongside all of this, he lives in Suffolk with his wife Bella and two daughters.
