Guy continues to work in the world of fine Chilean wine, at the family owned De Martino Winery in the heart of the Maipo Valley. Their De Martino wines are now distributed in the UK by Berry Bros. & Rudd, they have also been opening some fascinating new markets in the past 12 months, such as Iraq, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia and Armenia! Guy is also involved as a partner in a luxury guesthouse called Casa Macaire in the beautiful Casablanca Valley. Together with his wife, María José, and their four children, he makes very limited quantities of a homemade and artisanal wine (from grapes planted in his front garden) called ‘Hoops’ – his nickname (amongst others!) whilst at Stowe a few years back!
