As Chair of the Longplayer Trust, I invited writers Denise Ferreira da Silva and Timothy Morton to the British Library in the context of Jem Finer’s ‘1,000 year long, never repeating score’. My London Review Bookshop Screen at Home series also continued, with many guests including Fatima Bhutto, Xiaolu Guo, David Lammy MP, Hisham Matar, Marina Warner and Willard White.”
