George is still active as President of Children’s Homes in India Trust (CHIT) and meets regularly with former Head of Stowe, Christopher Turner, and former staff member Pauline Stanton-Saringer as they work to give destitute children in Andhra Pradesh a good education. George’s wife Angela, now almost blind, again this year packed all manner of donated goods for the Caribbean island of Dominica. In 20 years they have sent 80 tons. The goods are distributed by Lifeline Ministries Dominica run by their daughter Justina Alexander, the Honorary British Consul.
