Christopher published What Opera Means early in 2018 through Plumbago Books and Boydell & Brewer Ltd. The book pulls together his experience as a music lecturer at King’s College London and as a prolific contributor over the years to the Times Literary Supplement and The Royal Opera programmes. It was discussed intensely on BBC’s Radio 3’s Music Matters.
