“Stowe helped sponsor me on a gap year with an organisation called Project Trust, which provides international volunteering opportunities for young people to learn from other cultures and contribute to international communities. I went to Kenya and taught in rural secondary schools. Forty years on, 25 of us from the trip met up again for the first time to share life stories.”
