Anthony Nottingham (Chatham 59)

Anthony writes, “This year has been a bad one. I had a very nasty fall at Easter, hitting my head culminating in two small strokes and a locally undiagnosed hematoma on the brain, for which I finally had brain surgery at the end of July in London. This came after a struggle to access a neurologist to give me a scan etc. Since then I have been making an expected slow recovery, however, I still get very tired and have lost most of my hearing, which hearing aids do little to improve and can make noise almost unbearable. I’m hoping that 2022 will be a better year for us all and we will see the back of Covid. We all have to keep going”.
