In 2022, Amanda launched Hebridean Journey, a lifestyle clothing brand. She writes: “Whilst travelling the Hebrides with my (then) young family, I was deeply inspired by the beauty of the Scottish landscapes and the integrity and expertise of Scottish knitwear producers and the Scottish textile industry as a whole. My passion for the hand-made and hand-crafted began many years before in the 1990s, whilst studying an Industrial Design MA at Central Saint Martins. True sustainability is difficult to define, however my aim through Hebridean Journey, is to offer the highest quality clothing and textiles that can be worn, cherished and enjoyed, whilst making little or no impact on our beautiful imperfect world.”
