“Having worked in performance sports medicine for many years and with the British Paralympic Association since 2008, I have finally hung up my stethoscope having been their Chief Medical Officer for many of the Paralympic summer and winter Games. I was awarded an MBE for services to Paralympic sport in the Queen’s Jubilee Honours list in July. I am sailing across the Atlantic in November as I’m not ready to get out the pipe and slippers just yet!”
