Richard Elias, Tony Rowse, Michael Wightman, and John Jackson left Stowe in 1961. To keep in touch, they have agreed to meet for lunch twice a year in Sloane Square. Although past retirement age, Richard, an enthusiastic salmon fisherman, remains active as an international insurance broker with Howden Insurance; Tony is captain of golf at Woking Golf Club; Michael, Head of School and Captain of Rugby, has settled in Newton Ferrers, but makes frequent visits to Guernsey; John runs a family property business in Fulham, and does Scottish dancing with Robin Thomas (Bruce 59) and Euan Kennedy (Chatham 59). Old Stoic friendships run deep!
