Antony has been trying to reduce the number of rough sleepers. He writes, “There are projects which mean well, but may not be truly effective. One such is called ‘No Second Night Out’ but this admirable aim is still only an aim. After my political career, I have been concentrating on street homelessness which ought to be virtually eliminated. I am pessimistic about progress. The situation in London is dire.”
